Loyal Heart Dog is a blue dog of indeterminate breed. He has pale blue fur, and since the relaunch in the 2000s has had a white heart shaped patch over one eye. his belly symbol is a heart-shaped medal hanging from a bar.

He is honest and loyal and true beyond compare.

Loyal Heart Dog was introduced in The Care Bears Movie in 1985.
